Work Groups

The African Refiners & Distributors Association (ARA) is a non-profit, pan-African organisation comprising Members with a common interest in the Refining, Storage and Distribution of petroleum products across Africa.  A key objective of the ARA is to facilitate the exchange of best practices and foster positive exchanges amongst Members and the Association created various Work Groups (WGs) for this purpose.

The ARA is committed to supporting its Members and other stakeholders to maintain success by improving productivity, efficiency and overall profitability at the plant level.  The dedicated ARA WGs provide an avenue for collaboration with Sponsors and other partners to develop sustainable frameworks to promote investments in economic Downstream oil projects. These WGs support implementation of world-class financing, project development & execution, operations management and regulatory compliance.
